@lgbt_mummies we’re so proud to be part of this campaign #IVFForAll with our Founder sharing their journey & being part of the Ivf for all Email campaign to get people involved
.
This will mean no more will people have to go down alternative routes to family creation due to private treatment not being financially viable for them, or down alternative routes whereby they may be put in danger or not legally supported in their role as a parent- equity & equality for all those who wish to have a child by their chosen route of fertility treatment
.
But we would still love to see how single women & people, asexual & non binary people will be included in this, those with children already (sometimes a barrier to funding) & if it is across the whole of the UK of still within the remote of the post code lottery that the CCG’s maintain through their autonomous provision of funding access - and also what about surrogacy for gay me- this surely must be our next step towards equality- equality for all

HUGE WIN! Lesbians, bi women and trans people will no longer face additional barriers to accessing IVF, following our #IVFforAll campaign. This wouldn't have been possible without the help of our supporters, who campaigned alongside us for this change
Announced today, the Women's Health Strategy for England lays out plans to remove the need for female same-sex couples to pay for artificial insemination to 'prove' their fertility status before they can access NHS care.

This is a giant step forward for equality. Countless more LGBTQ+ couples in England will now have the same opportunity as everyone else to build loving, thriving families of their own
